Casa Mari was a wonderful place to stay during my time in Cebu. She and her family were very friendly towards me and immediately made me feel at home. Her house is gorgeous, just like the pictures. It’s set atop a hill in a secluded, upscale neighborhood. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Christine and her family offer a 5star experience at a very affordable price. The rooms are very spaceous and comfortable. The views from the house couldn’t be better. The neighborhood is safe, clean and will captivate you with it’s tropical charm. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The room title totally fits the place, even too humble for this magnificant peaceful environment. I am super super happy to have found this place! For my 4 years constant visit to Cebu, this is an instant peace land from the city (only a 10 – 15 minutes drive from Lahug town up to the neighbourhood in the mountain). Garden Room is the 7 star suite, with its own kitchen and toilet. A complete forest right at the window. What’s more important for a good stay is the hostesses. Thank you Christine, auntie and uncle, Tata and everyone who work to make Casa Mari and Jardin De Busay such a paradise. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us and friends, chatting under the stars, walking into the fruitful valley garden. The experience is just beyond words, I guess a mixtape of a few tracks might do a good comment!

What a peaceful and quiet stay at Tankpad! The apartment had good internet and was clean w/ an air conditioner that was in good working condition. The bed was comfortable. The place is only 15-20 minutes from Ayala mall but above the smog of the city. If taking a taxi from the city the best is to ask the driver to be taken to Chateau de Busay and just before the hotel you will see the large sign for the "Jardin de Busay" subdivision. Christine even helped me secure a scooter for a very affordable daily rate which was great for when I had meetings in town. I would stay here again!

Host Christine is very helpful and friendly. You would have a lot of help from her more than you expect. The problem is transportation between the house and Cebu downtown. It is better to rent a motorcycle

Just returned home to Gilbert, Arizona USA after spending 20 fantastic days in the Garden Room at Jardin de Busay. This is the most fantastic place that you will ever want to stay. The views from the garden are to die for. City lights at night, ocean and tropical greenery for as far as the eyes can see during the day. My wife and I sat in the garden every morning drinking coffee & tea, watching the Koi fish in the pond and listening to the different birds and animals in the distance. Our hosts, Cassie, Emma, Christine and Tata are the nicest people you will ever meet. They made us feel like their home was our home. If you’re planning a trip to Cebu City, you must stay at their place. And, if you are worrying about transportation down the mountain to Cebu City you need not worry. Your hosts will make sure you have transportation. Thank you Cassie, Emma, Christine and Tata for the wonderful experience. We will be back.

From my initial correspondence with Christine right until I left to continue my travels, she was so amazingly helpful, warm, friendly & hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble for her or her family. The rooms are even better than the images with all the faculties one could require & the location is fantastic. Just far enough out of the city, with awesome views & tranquility but close enough to everything. Christine can arrange everything from reliable taxis to bike rentals, trip advice & how to get to & from anywhere in the Philippines. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Busay and highly recommended it to anyone travelling to Cebu. I will definitely be back.

We definitely had a sweet escape at the garden room.. We have a million dollar view from our room, the place is really clean and the host family is just awesome.. Very,very nice people, we truly felt at home staying with them.. The property is located in picturesque lower Busay, a short taxi ride from Cebu City. The view is just breath-taking.. It is a well- hidden paradise!!! I truly recommend this place, we been travelling all over the world but this place is just magnificent! 10 stars rating!!! To Christine and to her family, thanks you guys very much, you made our stay so enjoyable and relaxing. Looking forward to staying with you again in the near future.. The location is very quiet and scenic and close to the city as long as you have a motorcycle but it’s a bit of a drive. Worth it to get away from the noise and pollution in the city. Christine is very helpful helping me to plan things. Tata brought me fruits. They are growing cacao trees and I had some of there chocolate drink often. The location is good but also the downside is it will take some time to leave and come back to the place.

Laccueil chaleureux de mes hotes ma emu et je recommande particulierement ce havre de a tous les voyageurs. Christine NADELA et ses parents sont adorables. Jai fait une chute de moto, la maman de Christine ma soigne chaque matin, elle etait infirmiere. Les repas en terrasse etaient exquis et je remercie tout le staff de la maison. Christine is a perfect host. She and her dad and the staff are very friendly people, who were always there to help. The room is clean and nice. It feel so peaceful in the evening. It’s home away from home. If I happen to be in Cebu again next time and if the room is available I definitely would stay with them again. Highly recommended.

Wonderful oasis of tranquility in the hills above Cebu City, with every care attended to by the welcoming and friendly Nadela family! Receiving a plate of freshly made chocolate sandwiches just after our arrival was a really nice touch. The room itself was spotless touring the island. Will have to come back and stay longer next time, and bring more pairs of flip-flops for Rafa and Era to chew and chase. Sorry we walked off with the key though Christine, but you should get it back by post in time for Christmas with luck. It was a special place, and you guys were all great – thanks for all the suggestions on things to do and see – and for putting us in touch with Lipar and his motorbikes, and for Jude in Bohl. Our stay in Casa Mari is a memorable one. We enjoyed it so much. The room is clean and comfy to sleep. The view from the room is awesome when you wake up in the morning, the hosts-Christine, Casi and Emma are so kind and very accommodating. You feel like a family to them. There dogs are also cute, my son loves them. 🙂 Taxi’s going there though is a bit hard specially late at night, they usually charge a hundred pesos in addition to your metered bill.

One of the best places to stay in Cebu. I grew up in Cebu and had a choice to stay with family or here. The place reminds me. How old Cebu looks like. Your surrounded by trees-Rare now. And it’s just 10-15 mins to the mall. Christine was such an awesome host. She took good care of us. The place is very private, quiet, and safe. You have to try organic choco drink. I went to Bali and stayed again for few days.

Trip 1 / The Nadelas are great people and a great host. Tata and staff are all great as well all very friendly and a very well-run place. I’d like thank you for getting the construction done in time for our arrival. Also providing whatever we asked for in a timely matter. I’d also like to thank you for helping us with the kids and getting them down to the bottom of the mountain. Me and my wife loved staying there. The room was very nice and comfortable. The Mountain View and fresh air is amazing. When we are in Cebu this is where we will stay. 2 time / My wife really enjoyed being there again and with all of you. She loves how you all treat her like family. She also loved all the talk especially with the aunt and enjoying some fruit. She also loved just being able to sit there and read a good book whether inside or out. She finds you place to be very beautiful and relaxing. And loves to be there any chance she can. Thank you so much for treating her like family. I know she loves it. Thank you for everything we will be back soon.
