Jardin De Busay
The name Jardin de Busay is a combination of a Spanish word jardin which means garden and a Cebuano/Visayan word busay which literally means water falls but figuratively means source (i.e. source of life).
Jardin de Busay is located in Barangay Busay along the Cebu Transcentral Highway that sprawls along the picturesque mountains of Cebu. It is nestled in the historic mountains overlooking Mandaue City and Mactan Island. What was once the setting of the heroic “Battle of Busay” is now a refreshing and quiet neighbourhood.
Jardin de Busay offers vacation rentals for those looking for a unique experience, home staying with a Filipino family and immersing in the culture. Properties are also available for sale for those searching for a place to escape the city without being too far away from it.
Nature is kept at its best in Jardin de Busay as the landscape is preserved. Trees, flowers and plants stretch out through the whole place and the garden by the valley. Jardin de Busay is producing homegrown and homemade cacao tableya (tablets) in its own cacao plantation, best for the native tsokwate (chocolate drink). A must try for guests!
Truly, Jardin de Busay’s name befits itself: a garden of life at the mountains of urban Cebu.
